Series of rough sketches for a graphic novel in progress.....much like storyboards, it is my intention to tell this story in a cinematic way so that I can use it , along with the script, to pitch the project as a film. Its definately a fine line as something planned to be shot with a particular camera lense might not necessary be interesting for a graphic novel. Lately, Alex Ross has captured my attention in his 'Justice' work ( I believe it came out in 2005/06) and reading his graphic novel is like watching a movie in some ways. Not to say that I would have any patience to work like he does but in anycase, its inspiring for me to study his work and actually see all the things he has drawn to be actual scene set ups (he uses live props and sets for the backdrops).
